ELLA Learning Studio is a hybrid microschool in South Houston serving Black and Latino male students in grades 6–12 — including those who are at-risk and students with disabilities — through personalized, growth-driven, and accountable education.

Students engage in personalized, small-group learning experiences designed to strengthen academic understanding and support individual growth. Instruction is tailored to help learners deepen their knowledge while building confidence in mathematics and core academic skills.

Students explore concepts through experiential learning opportunities that help connect academic knowledge to real-world contexts. This approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful engagement with what they learn.

The program incorporates forward-thinking tools, including AI-supported learning, to help students deepen their understanding and apply knowledge in new ways. These tools support personalized learning pathways and skill development.

ELLA Learning Studio was created because too many brilliant Black and Latino male students are invisible inside traditional classrooms — overlooked, underserved, and underestimated. We are the alternative: a high-performance sanctuary where every student is known by name, challenged by design, and supported with intention.
We train students to own their learning — building habits, self-regulation, and confidence that last far beyond our walls.
